Note: Set the view of the images to Large icons. This will make it easier to see which images need to be rotated. Select all the images that need to be rotated to the same left or right option.

  • Right-click on one of the selected images
  • Click Rotate right or Rotate left
  • The images will rotate and save automatically

You cannot drag and drop these images into the current inspection as those images are still there with the same file name.

Add images to an inspection report

Images can be added to an inspection report at any time after an inspection has been completed on the inspection app or manually created in the property diary.

  • Go to Property > Current properties
  • Search for the property address and click on it
  • Click on Diary
  • Browse for the inspection report and click on it
  • Click on the Images tab
  • Click Auto Save. The inspection report will auto-save every 60 seconds
  • Open the folder where the images are stored
  • Once the image or images are selected, drag and drop them anywhere in the Images tab
  • The system will take a little time to process

Note: The images in the inspection report will appear in the incorrect order after being dropped. However, they will reorder correctly once the report has been saved and reopened.

  • Click Save & close

If there are a large number of images to drag and drop, this will need to be done in small amounts, i.e., 50 images at a time to reduce the amount of time the report has to process.

Duplicate an inspection report

Palace also has the option to duplicate an existing inspection report. Duplicating an inspection report will make an exact copy of the notes, statuses, features and rooms except for the images.
