Understand REI Forms Live integration

Summary

REI Forms are the forms used in Australia that provide the correct templates and letters that are required by various laws.

Configure Palace

To use this integration in Palace, you must have an account with REI Forms Live. This area is permission-based. If you do not have access, ask your manager or administrator to assist you.

  • Go to System > Settings
  • Click on the Integrations tab
  • Click on Setup REI Forms to the right of REI Forms Live

  • A pop-up box will appear

  • Select User Login
  • Enter your REI login details
  • Once you have logged in, REI Forms will ask if you authorize Palace to create and edit documents - select Yes to this
  • You will be taken back to Palace
  • Go back to System > Settings > Integrations > Setup REI Forms
  • Turn the Enabled option to Yes
  • Now that you have integrated with REI Forms you will see REI Forms Live Settings
  • Here you will see the actual REI forms Dashboard, you can manage your account, add new users, etc.

To use a REI Form in Palace

REI forms are used under a tenant’s profile.

  • Go to Tenancy > Current tenancies
  • Search for the tenant
  • Click the tenant's name to open their profile
  • Click on Diary
  • Click External File
  • Click REI Forms Live

  • A pop-up box will appear

  • First, select the group (Category) i.e Property Management Forms
  • Then select the template
  • Name the form i.e Bills arrears letter
  • Click on Create
  • Click on View/Edit
  • You will be taken to REI forms Live (no longer in Palace)
  • You can then edit the letter, make changes, fill in extra fields, etc.

  • Click to print or email
  • Click on Save when done
  • Click on Close
  • You won't be taken back to Palace, however, you can click on the Palace tab
  • Your diary entry will now show a description of what you have done
  • Click Save and Close

Note: When you open the Diary, you'll find the letter or form you created. If you revisit that diary entry, you'll see the document attached below the description box, under File. Simply click on the file name to download the PDF and view it.
