Email Options within Palace

Palace can be configured to allow emails to be sent from within Palace, to be received back into Palace or received back into your default email inbox (Eg. Outlook or Gmail). How we do this is by setting up a new unique email domain for your company.

For example, if your name is George Smith and you worked for a company called FastPM, then your email address may look like george@fastpm.com. We would set up a unique domain that would look like this: administrator@fastpm.rentals-mail.com.

  • Scenario 1:
    • Sending emails from Palace and receiving replies to Palace. When George sends an email from within Palace, the customer will receive an email. The name of the sender would be George Smith, but the ‘from’ address would be: messaging-service@post.getpalace.com.

When the customer responds to the email, the reply-to address will change to administrator@fastpm.rentals-mail.com and it will be linked back into the diary of the customer in Palace (so both sent and received emails can be seen).

Note: When responding to the email, the subject line and reply to email should not be changed.

  • Scenario 2:
    • Sending emails from Palace and receiving replies into the Email client. When George sends an email from within Palace, the customer will receive an email.  The name of the sender would be George Smith, but the from address would be messaging-service@post.getpalace.com.

When the customer responds to the email, the reply-to address will change to george@fastpm.com and only the original email sent from Palace will be in the diary and all other replies will be in George's email (Outlook/Gmail) and will not be saved in Palace.
