Upload an inspection from the app

Summary

After completing an inspection, submit it to your Palace database for final touches before sending it to the owner. An internet connection is required for uploading and syncing.

Note: Sign in to the Palace inspection app using your current Palace email address and password.

Queue tab

A submitted inspection will appear in the Queue area. If you have internet, it will upload immediately. If not, it will wait in the queue until you have a connection.

  • Tap on Settings > Uploads

Uploaded tab

Once the inspections are uploaded to Palace, they will show up in the Uploaded area with a timestamp. In this area, you can find the inspections from the past 14 days.

  • Tap on Settings > Uploads > Uploaded

Drafts tab

When an inspection has been started it will become a draft. It will be stored in the Drafts tab until it has been submitted.

  • Tap on Inspections > Drafts

Retry an inspection

If an inspection has not been uploaded and is stuck in the Queue tab you can retry the upload after some time.

  • Tap on Settings > Uploads
  • Tap:
    • Android - Black upward-facing arrow
    • Apple - Tap the property address > Retry

If you're experiencing issues with an inspection not uploading, you can troubleshoot your device's specs to identify any unrelated issues affecting performance.

Reupload an inspection

If an inspection has not been uploaded completely into Palace, you can re-upload it.

  • Tap on Settings > Uploads > Uploaded
  • Tap:
    • Android - Black upward-facing arrow
    • Apple - Tap the property address > Retry
