Social Housing and Affordable Housing (New Zealand)

This article covers the fine details behind our Social Housing fields for properties and Tenants.

Property:

Once you have enabled the Social Housing setting and customised the fields you need, you can start entering answers to each question.

  • Navigate to your current properties list and edit your desired property
  • You will see a shortcut on the main screen, labelled 'Dwelling Details'.
  • Click on this and a pop-up window will display all the ''active'' questions from the List Defaults.
  • Questions set as ''required'' will have an asterisk next to the question name and require an answer before you can successfully save your data.

Tenancy:

For our tenants, we have two pop-up windows available to hold and record important data.

  • Navigate to the Current Tenancies list and click on edit on the desired tenancy.
  • First, we have the ''Housing Details'' window, which contains the Allocation and Household information. Fields that have been marked as ''active'' in the List Defaults area will be displayed in this window and much like our property fields, all required labels will have an asterisk displayed next to the label name:

  • Over on the right-hand side of the tenant screen, you will find the Person Details link. This shortcut window is available within the Head Tenant as well as the additional tenant screens and will contain fields that cover the resident details per tenant. Like our other labels, this window will display fields based on our list defaults and also follow the required field workflow.
